First experiment

My performance connects enviroment protection, the specific topic of water, and the hard line traditions of happenings. The situation is look like that I stand near to the water, and I am holding the cable in my hands. On the cable there was an out of function bulb, which is near to the water table. The other end of the cable was in the water. At this first session, I was wearing my casual clothes.
The conception is based on the idea of Vigilance (Virrasztás), 1980 from Tibor Hajas. In that performance the floor is wet, the actor chrashes a working lightning bulb on it, then the helpers sedate him, and mop with him the floor. In the background a germane shepherd dog is howling. At the very last moment one of the helpers switched of the electricity so Hajas had not died.
Without any help, I am not sure that the idea behind my performance is understandable, or more precisely that approachable, that it can give people something about our topic. Anyway, at this first occasion I was not so brave, so I have done it late evening in the park we had been before. No one stopped to check me more accurately, and of course there was not any questioner. Tomorrow I will do it nit so late, and I will try to be more significant about my conception, maybe wearing something special. All in all, it was a great first experience scary enough and food for thought even without considerable audience.
